Guess who’s back in the mutha fuckin’ house?
To all the keen observers out there, yes, I haven’t posted in a bit. I decided to take a short break during the holidays while I returned home to my family. And since I had no real internet access / computer while I was home, my choices boiled down to one - no poker. At one point in time this year, this forced hiatus would have devastated me, and I would have to get my poker fix by any means necessary, but suprisingly I was pretty unfazed about it.
Let’s call it unconscious constraint.
During the last few days leading up to my short hiatus I was playing rather strangely. Not to say that I wasn’t winning (impossible), but I just wasn’t playing what many poker players describe as my “A” game. And as any poker player will tell you, some times you just end up playing your “B” game, and no matter how conscious of it you are, you can’t shake it. So I imagine when I jump back onto the virtual felt, I’ll have found my truant “A” game. Here’s hoping.
