Going going, back back to Vegas
Yes I'm Returning to Vegas tonight. This time I'll be flying solo and meeting a friend there.
Quick post before I leave...
The degenerate poker challenge degenerated into a competition of who could avoid going bust. The winner was still Lee676, even though he ended on a big downswing himself after peaking at $880. GirlsRule100 somehow ended up losing all his hard earned winnings, playing big buy-in SNG's. Ataros took the default 2nd place after playing only 1 day. Even though it was busto for most, or at least no real winnings, I think that there will be another challenge in the future, just not at Ultimate Bet as it was collectively hated by all participants.
Oh well live and learn.
As before, I probabbly won't be posting whilst in Vegas, unless this time my hotel has fucking wifi internet access like they should. I'm staying at the classy "Orleans" hotel, I'll surely be picking up mad hoes for just mentioning that.
This time I plan on playing more marathon cash game sessions, hopefully actually winning something this time, and spending a lot less on shitty tournaments.
I called up the Sahara - the casino where I was in the tournament that I had to leave as chipleader to avoid missing my plane - to check on the status of my winnings. Turns out that I finished 4th or 5th for a cool win of $500-600. So that will be a really nice starting amount to play with for sure. And play will include the daily tournaments at the Sahara, as the structure is really good and I gotta give them props for holding my cash for me.
Wish me luck and all that. And don't waste too much time reloading my page while I'm gone.

Good to find another Toronto based player. I have been playing in some poker clubs in the downtown area. Let me know if you want to join in... trying to get Kat to come out as well but the lure of free beer has not worked yet!
